BOTANICAL NOTES

The Vanilla Madagascariensis is a wild and endemic species of Madagascar among the ten present. It can be found in the humid tropical forests of the northeast of the island, revealing a magnificent snow-white flower during the blooming period.

The name ‘Bourbon’, a label created in 1964, refers to a geographical area of the Indian Ocean including Reunion Island, Madagascar, the Comoros and Mauritius.
